What is the PT-500 Submersible Pressure Transmitter used for?

The PT-500 is designed for measuring pressure in clean liquid applications. It is ideal for industrial settings where accurate and reliable submersible pressure monitoring is required, including water tanks, wells, and other fluid measurement environments.

This transmitter features a 316L stainless steel (SS) sensor, a vented urethane cable, and a Delrin nose cone, ensuring durability and long-term performance in harsh environments.

Yes, it includes built-in lightning transience protection, which helps prevent damage from electrical surges in industrial applications.

Yes, our PT-500 uniquely features a field-adjustable zero, allowing users to calibrate it for more precise measurements in their specific installation.

The PT-500 includes conduit mounting threads for easy installation, and it also comes with a built-in vent tube filter cap to prevent contamination.

We recommend recalibration to be performed at least once a year to ensure accurate measurements—although some applications may require more frequent calibration. APG offers in-house NIST calibration services, with experienced technicians and quick turnaround times to help keep your operations on track.

You can start the recalibration process by submitting our RMA form, and set custom recalibration reminders through our Recalibration Reminder form.
