What does NSF 61 & 372 mean?
  • NSF/ANSI/CAN 61: Indicates that the materials used in a product are safe for contact with drinking water. The standard evaluates the potential for products to leach harmful chemicals or contaminants into the water. A product that meets NSF 61 ensures it won’t negatively affect water quality or public health when used in drinking water systems.
  • NSF 372: Indicates that the product contains less than 0.25% lead by weight, in compliance with the U.S. Safe Drinking Water Act. This is crucial for products to ensure they are safe for drinking water applications and align with regulations limiting lead exposure.

The PT-500E can be submerged in a tank with a minimum capacity of 10 gallons.

The operating temperature for the PT-500E is -40º to 185ºF. It is not recommended to use the PT-500E in water that is heated outside the operating temp.
