It's made for harsh environments. With a laser welded body of 316L stainless steel, surge and lightning protection, and CSA class 1, division 1 certifications, it can handle just about anything. But, despite all that toughness, it's still priced for industrial use.

And the best part is, we have all the options you need to match your exact application. The process connection is where the rubber meets the road. You can choose a simple 1/2" male NPT fitting with a stylish nose cone. Or you have your choice of two cages. Our fixed cage is laser welded onto the sensor, or we have the world's first and only reusable cage.
00:52 FIELD ADJUSTABLE ZERO
We believe in making our sensors field adjustable whenever possible. With a simple magnet, you can re-zero the sensor by moving up and down along the side. And this is something you just won't find anywhere else.
01:06 CONDUCTIVE THREADS
A lot of times, the electrical connection is overlooked. The PT-500 offers conduit threads, which are awesome for mounting your sensor in turbulence and for protecting your cable from harsh chemicals. You can also choose an over-molded strain relief which protects your cable in tight spaces.

All of this is held together with precision laser-welds for a water-tight sensor. You can even opt for a sealed version that is filled with airtight industrial potting‚ in case a vent tube isn't the best option for your application.

The key analog signals are still very important for a lot of industries, such as 4-20 milliamps, 0-5 volts DC, or 10 milli-volts per volt. But now we've also added RS-485 output for you Modbus fans out there. And with that addition, the PT-500 is now Tank Cloud compatible.

If you're not familiar with Tank Cloud, it's our remote monitoring platform that offers low cost, flexibility, and now, a submersible pressure transducer.
02:06 CABLE OPTIONS
The standard cable is built with Kevlar for high tensile strength. Our Hytrel cable is compatible with a lot more chemicals and is great for diesel tanks.

Last but not least, we've made it easier to use our vented versions with this handy little vent cap. Unlike the desiccant cartridge, this little thing uses a hydrophobic membrane to block out all moisture without sealing off the vent. But don't worry desiccant fans ‚ we've still got the cartridge if you need it.
