With a 0.5" 3/16 ∅ stainless steel stem, Class I Div 1 and Class I Zone 0 approvals, and floats that just don't get stuck.
The bottom float is specifically designed to extend one full inch below the bottom of the probe for ultra-low interface-level detection. Depending on the composition of the fuel, the bottom float can begin to move at an interface-level as low as 1.25 inches from the bottom of the tank. For siphon pipes five inches above the bottom of the fuel tank, the Buna-N Dual-Float System provides almost four inches of interface level warning.
Low-Level Measurements
The Buna-N Dual-Float System For Low-Level Fuel-Water Interface Level Detection on Magnetostrictive probes provides the interface level monitoring necessary for safe and successful fuel tank operations.
Modbus Output
The RS-485 Modbus RTU output makes any MPI compatible with any Modbus controller. It also pairs with the MDI controller to create a self-contained, Intrinsically Safe level monitoring solution.
Tank Cloud Compatible
The MPI liquid level sensor is a Tank Cloud client sensor, able to communicate via the Internet with the addition of an LOE server sensor or an RST-5003 module.
